Summary: Packaging is often used a lot in America. That most of the times we use it in ways that are useless. Reducing plastic would do a number of different things to help the environment. For example, it would reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses and emissions from production and it would also help the recycling process because some packaging is difficult to recycle. It is difficult to get companies to agree on using less packaging, because it either advertised the brand or more friendly environmentally packaging is thought to expensive. We have to aware the consumers, because if consumers are aware of this then they would complain the the company. As a result they would consider on using less packaging. As a hint, "the costumer is always first or right." (Perfect way to write a summary.) Once the public is aware of this problem, things will begin to change. Public awareness is the first step to reduce the amount of packaging that is unnecessary.
Reflection: While reading this article it made not really eat at fast foods anymore, because of the amount of packaging there is. Companies should go green and use less packaging. For example, McDonalds uses a lot of packaging depending on your order. It just makes me it more at home and make me want to tell the consumers that they should be aware of how much plastic they are wasting every time they go into a fast food restaurant.
